Bleangate

Bleangate is a hundred of Kent that forms part of the Lathe of St Augustine. It is bounded by Whitstable to the west; by Ringslow to the east; by Preston and Wingham to the south-east; by Downhamford to the south; and by Westgate to the south-west. It had a population of 52,290 in 2011.
It comprises the ancient parishes of:
- Chislet
- Herne
- Hoath
- Reculver
- Stourmouth
- Sturry
- Swalecliffe (part)*
- Westbere (part)†
