Shamwell Hundred, shown within the Lathe of Aylesford and Kent

Shamwell is a hundred of Kent that forms part of the Lathe of Aylesford. It is bounded by Hoo Hundred to the west; by Toltingtrough; to the south by Larkfield and Aylesford; and to the south-east by the River Medway, across which lies the city of Rochester and Chatham and Gillingham hundred.
