The path west of Newbury in Berkshire

The Orange Way is a long-distance walking route devised to follow the march, in 1688 of Prince William of Orange and his army from Brixham in Devon to London. It is a 350-mile route, not an 'official' long-distance trail and unmarked on maps, but an ingenious one. The route runs through Devon, Dorset, Wiltshire, Berkshire, Buckinghamshire and Middlesex.[1]
