Staincross Wapentake shown within the West Riding and Yorkshire

Staincross is a wapentake in the West Riding of Yorkshire. It is bounded by Agbrigg to the north; by Osgoldcross to the east; and by Strafforth and Tickhill to the south. To the west are short borders with Cheshire and Derbyshire. In 2011, it had a population of 196,629.

It comprises the ancient parishes of:
