Pickering Lythe
Pickering Lythe is a wapentake of the North Riding of Yorkshire. Adjacent wapentakes are Whitby Strand to the north-east; Langbaurgh to the north; Ryedale to the west; and Buckrose and Dickering in the East Riding to the south. Pickering Lythe had a population of 87,635 in 2011.
The wapentake takes its name from the town of Pickering, which it contains.
It comprises the ancient parishes of:
