Hang East
Hang East is a wapentake of the North Riding of Yorkshire. Surrounding wapentakes are Hang West to the west; West Gilling and East Gilling to the north; Hallikeld to the south; and Claro in the West Riding to the south. Hang East had a population of 30,484 in 2011.
It comprises the ancient parishes of:
