Lively Island and surrounding isles

The Lively Island Group is a group of isles lying off the rugged east coast of East Falkland in the Falkland Islands. It consists of Lively Island, by far the largest, and around it a scatter of small islands and islets. Lively and its neighbours shelter the entrance to Choiseul Sound. Lively Sound separates the islands from the coast of Lafonia.

Lively Settlement is on the north shore of Lively Island, the only settlement amongst these islands. It is sheltered by Phillimore Island, a long island just to the north, separated by a narrow channel and almost meeting the main island at its eastern point. In the channel west of the settlement lie Cow island, Irene island and Reef Island.
