North East Island is an island to the north-east of Lively Island, and the second-largest of the Lively Island Group. It is of a distinctive shape, consisting of two similar islands, to north and south, linked by a narrow neck of land at their mid-point, on the west side of which, towards Lively, is a shallow bay.
