Kibbor is one of the hundreds of Glamorgan, comprising Cardiff and adjacent parishes. The name Kibbor is ancient, dating back to at least the 11th century. It is the most populous of Glamorgan's hundreds, with a population of 257,877 in 2011. It is bordered by Caerphilly Hundred to the north; Miskin Hundred to the north-east; Dinas Powis Hundred to the south-east; and Monmouthshire's Wentloog Hundred to the east.
It contains the following ancient parishes:
- Caerau
- Cardiff St John
- Cardiff St Mary
- Lisvane
- Llandaff
- Llanedeyrn
- Llanishen
- Roath
- Whitchurch (part)*
