Hollyhock Island is an uninhabited island, about 50 yards long, in the River Thames belonging to Buckinghamshire. It is situated on the reach above Penton Hook Lock. It is in a small channel between the northern (Buckinghamshire) bank of the Thames and the larger Holm Island,[1] close to the town of Staines across the border to the east in Middlesex.

It is about 440 yards downstream of the M25 Runnymede Bridge.[2]

The island is noted for the house "The Nest", which was used as a hideaway by the future Edward VIII and Wallis Simpson during the 1930s.[3]
