South Damerham is one of the hundreds of Wiltshire, situated in the south of the county, adjacent to the borders with Dorset, Hampshire and Somerset. It lies in four parts with a total population of 1,791 in 2011.
It comprises the ancient parishes of:

- Martin
- Monkton Deverill
- Toyd Farm and Allenford (ex. par.)
