Papa is an uninhabited island amongst the Scalloway Islands of Shetland. Its name is from the Old Norse: Papey, meaning "the island of the priests".

Papa lies north west of Burra and east of Oxna. The last residents left at some time between 1891 and 1930. Most habitation was on the eastern end of the island. A beached lake and a low area divide the island nearly into three separate parts.
