Winterburn is a village in the West Riding of Yorkshire, five miles south-west of Grassington, below Winterburn Moor in the ancient Pennine lands known as Craven. Winterburn Reservoir is located about a mile from the village, which is situated on Winterburn Beck, the reservoir's outlet.
