Underditch is one of the hundreds of Wiltshire, situated in the south-east of the county. It is bounded by Amesbury to the north-east; by Alderbury to the east; by Cawden and Cadworth to the south; and by Branch and Dole to the west. Including the eastern suburbs of Salisbury, it had a population of 19,680 in 2011.
It comprises the ancient parishes of:
- Salisbury St Edmund, St Martin & St Thomas
- Salisbury Cathedral Close (ex. par.)
- Stratford-sub-Castle
- Wilsford
- Woodford
