Ruthin hundred in Denbighshire

Ruthin Hundred is one of the hundreds of Denbighshire, named after the town of Ruthin, which it contains. It is situated in the centre of the county, bounded to the north by Flintshire; to the east by Yale Hundred; to the south by Merionethshire; and to the west by Isaled Hundred. It corresponds to the mediæval cantref of Dyffryn Clwyd.
