Pen Pumlumon Llygad-bychan is a subsidiary summit of Plynlimon and the third highest point on the Plynlimon massif within the Cambrian Mountains. Its summit marks the border between Cardiganshire to the west and Montgomeryshire to the east. It rises to 2,375 feet.
The summit of Pen Pumlumon Llygad-bychan is boggy, and is marked by a few stones. The views reach out to many of the other great peaks of the Cambrian range, including Rhos Fawr, Drygarn Fawr, Pen y Garn to the south and Aran Fawddwy, Glasgwm, Tarrenhendre and Tarren y Gesail to the north.
The River Wye, has its source just south of the summit. The glacial lake of Llyn Llygad Rheidiol lies to the north.[1]
