Sgiath Chuil is a mountain amongst the Mamlorn Hills of Perthshire. It summit is at 3,022 feet above sea level, which qualifies the mountain to be a Munro. It is within the Loch Lomond and the Trossachs National Park, at the park's northern boundary.

Geography

Sgiath Chùil qualifies as a Munro for its height of 3,022 feet, and with prominence of 1,024 feet, it is deemed also a Marilyn.

In Sir Hugh Munro's original list of peaks in Scotland with a height over 3,000 feet, published in the Scottish Mountaineering Club Journal in September 1891, Sgiath Chùil was listed as a top, with Meall a' Churain as the mountain and higher point. This error was corrected when the first revision of the list was published in 1921.[1]
