Milburngate Bridge carries Leazes Road (the A690) over the River Wear into the heart of Durham, in County Durham. It is a modern, concrete bridge.
The bridge was built in 1967 as part of a road scheme. It is a balanced cantilever, concrete beams, borne on two concrete piers. It replaced the old Framwellgate and Elvet bridges in the city centre. The other part of the road scheme is the New Elvet Bridge, though it did not open until eight years later. The Millburngate shopping centre adjoins the bridge as part of the overall plan.
