Càrn Ghluasaid is a mountain in the Glen Shiel Hills, the district packed with high hills where Ross-shire and Inverness-shire meet near the west coast. Càrn Ghluasaid itself stands on the border of the two shires and reaches a height of 3,140 feet at its summit, and so it qualifies as a Munro.
The mountain is the easternmost Munro of the chain of the North Glen Shiel range, rising on the north bank of Loch Cluanie (receiving the line of the county border where it crosses the loch). Immediately to the north-west is another Munro, Sgùrr nan Conbhairean, to which it is joined by a high bealach marked with a subsidiary Munro top, Creag a' Chaorainn.
