Pulrossie is a farmstead in Sutherland. It is to be found on the northern shore of the Kyle of Sutherland or Dornoch Firth, which mark the border with Ross-shire to the south. Pulrossie is five miles west of Dornoch, amongst the flood plain and marshes of the firth, beside a wide tidal creek ('Pol na Caorach') where the River Evelix and the Allt Garbh meet to enter the Dornoch Firth.
Skibo Castle is a mile to the north-east, while the slipway at Meikle Ferry is a mile south-east.
