Cogdean Hundred shown within Dorset

Cogdean is a hundred in the county of Dorset, situated in the east othe county, adjacent to the border with Hampshire. It is bounded by Poole Harbour to the south; by the English Channel to the south-east; by Hampshire to the east; by Cranborne and Badbury Hundreds to the north; by Loosebarrow to the west; and by Wareham (locally in Winfrith hundred) to the south-west. Including the town of Poole, it had a population of 207,668 in 2011.
