Kendal ward in Westmorland

Kendal Ward is one of the wards of Westmorland, forming part of the Barony of Kendal. It is situated in the south-west of the county, bounded to east by Lonsdale Ward; to the south and west by Lancashire; to the north-west by Cumberland; to the north by the West Ward; and to the north-east by the East Ward. There is also a short boundary with Morecambe Bay, separating the two pieces of Lancashire, north and south of the sands. It is the most populous of the wards, with a population of 60,421 in 2011.

The hundred comprises the ancient parishes of:
