Springhead is a suburban village in Saddleworth in the West Riding of Yorkshire.

In contrast to much of Saddleworth, Springhead has grown suburban and is becoming contiguous with the village of Lees, Greenacres and Waterhead, and in Saddleworth with Austerlands and Grotton.

Springhead's name is not ancient. A house in the village is names Springhead House, in whose garden is a springhead, which gave a name to the house and thence from Springhead House was named the village itself.
