Eggleston Bridge is a narrow, 17th century stone bridge which crosses the River Tees, from County Durham on the north bank to the North Riding of Yorkshire on the south, near Eggleston, County Durham.
The bridge is believed to be of the 17th century, and to be a rebuilding of an earlier bridge built in about 1450. It has two arches stone bridge, and once had a chapel built on it, possibly at the south end. It was repaired and closed to traffic in 1982.
Eggleston is the only village on the Durham side of the Tees between Middleton-in-Teesdale and Barnard Castle, and the bridge joins this village to Romaldkirk on the Yorkshire side, about a mile south of the bridge.
