Information

Deepdale Footbridge is a footbridge which carries a footpath over the River Tees between County Durham on the north bank and the North Riding of Yorkshire on the south. The bridge is to be found upstream of Barnard Castle, off the B6277 road, gives access to riverside walks by Flatts Wood on the north side of the Tees. The footbridge is also a pipe bridge for it carries water pipes over its 3 span, lattice girder structure. The river is still quite wide at this point.
