Wantage hundred in Berkshire

Wantage Hundred is one of the hundreds of Berkshire, named after the town of Wantage which it contains. It is situated in the north-west of the county, bounded to the north by Ock Hundred; to the west by Shrivenham Hundred; and to the south by Compton Hundred. There are short boundaries with Ganfield Hundred to the north-west, and Reading Hundred to the south-east. The hundred is split into two main parts by the intervention of Kintbury Eagle Hundred.

The hundred comprises the ancient parishes of:
