Rookwith is a hamlet in the North Riding of Yorkshire, in Wensleydale, about four miles west of Bedale, with the River Ure flowing by to the south.[1]
The hamlet was is recorded in the Domesday Book as belonging to Count Alan and having four ploughlands.[2]
The population at the 2011 Census was less than 100.
