The River Eamont is a river in the Lake District that forms the boundary between Cumberland and Westmorland for its entire length. It is one of the major tributaries of the River Eden.

The river is formed by the outflow from Ullswater, later augmented by Dacre Beck from Cumberland and the River Lowther which carries the water from Haweswater in Westmorland north to the Eamont at Penrith. It reaches the Eden three miles east of Penrith.
