Loch Nedd

Loch Nedd is a small, narrow sea loch indenting the west coast of Sutherland, in the Assynt area of the county. It opens into Eddrachillis Bay, and is in form a chasm south to north from head to mouth, or a tidal estuary to the minor Gleann Leireag River.

Views from the loch south-eastward are dominated by the long Torridonian sandstone ridge of Quinag.

A hamlet named Nedd stands close to the loch's western shore, where the B869 road skirts the loch.
