Eididh nan Clach Geala is a mountain in Ross-shire, which reaches a height of 3,041 feet at its summit, and so it qualifies as a Munro.

This is one of the northern Munros in the Beinn Dearg group of the Ullapool Hills. It is a rounded Munro with minor crags on the southern faces. The summit rises at the head of deep corrie overlooking Lochan na Chnapaich on the corrie floor.

Three main broad ridges run out from the summit, heading north, south-west and south-east. The north ridge leads to an unnamed subsidiary peak (of 2,861 feet). The south-west ridge extends all the way to Inverlael at the head of Loch Broom with steep slopes to the south overlooking Gleann na Sguaib. The south-east ridge heads round the head of Lochan na Chnapaich to join up with connecting Munro, Meall nan Ceapraichean.

Ascent

The main routes of ascent are up the north ridge, or up the south-west ridge from Inverlael.

Eididh nan Clach Geala is usually climbed together with its neighbour, Meall nan Ceapraichean. To these can be added other Munros in the group, to produce a round of four Munros in the day: Eididh nan Clach Geala, Meall nan Ceapraichean, Beinn Dearg and Cona' Mheall.

This is a wild area of the Highlands, with wondrous views out from the summit in all directions. From here may be seen the Assynt Munros of Sutherland, and those of the Fisherfield Forest, and the hand of man barely touching the landscape.
