Cona' Mheall is a mountain in north-western Ross-shire, one of the Ullapool Hills. It reaches a height of 3,209 feet at its summit, and so it qualifies as a Munro.
Cona' Mheall is connected to its larger neighbour, Beinn Dearg, by a sharp ridge running round the rim of Coire Ghranda, a superb corrie which both of these Munros overlook. It is a dark and concealed corrie bound by the sheer faces of both Munros and holds Lochan a Coire Ghranda. Cona' Mheall therefore has its steepest cliffs to the west and picking a way up through the narrow southern end makes for a fantastic if nerve-racking ascent.
The eastern slopes are less steep and lead to a low col between neighbouring Munro, Am Faochagach.
The best views from the summit are undoubtedly to the west to the immediate Beinn Dearg and Corrie Ghranda; however, the views east and south to the desolate Fannichs are also worthy of a mention.

Cona' Mheall can be combined with the other Munros west and north in the Beinn Dearg group to make a long and rewarding day out in the hills. Such an expedition can take in four Munros: Cona' Mheall, Meall na Ceapraichean, Eididh nan Clach Geala and Bein Dearg. Am Faochagach lies further east.
