Batchworth is a village in Hertfordshire, which effectively forms the part of Rickmansworth south of the River Colne, Hertfordshire and Grand Union Canal.

Batchworth is at the junction of the A404 and A4145 road, on the slopes and at the bottom of the steep hill down to the river and the canal. The lock on the Grand Union Canal here is known as Batchworth Lock, which is perhaps the most familiar appearance of the name as the village is most often taken to be part of Rickmansworth.

The Rickmansworth Aquadrome is in Batchworth.

At the top of Batchworth Hill (a road lined with most exclusive houses) is a little village green and pond, right by the Middlesex border and the roads to Moor Park, Harefield and Northwood.
