Ardgay is a small village in northern Ross-shire on the south-west shore of the Dornoch Firth. It lies a mile south from Bonar Bridge at the entrance to Strathcarron, the valley of the River Carron and is at the mouth of the Kyle of Sutherland.
Ardgay is served by Ardgay railway station on the Far North line between Inverness and Wick. The hamlet of Kincardine lies less than a mile south-east along the A836 coast road. National Cycle Route 1[1][2] passes through Ardgay.
