Caerphilly Hundred

The Caerphilly Hundred is one of the hundreds of Glamorgan, in the east of the county. The hundred is named after the town of Caerphilly, which it contains. It is bounded by Brecknockshire to the north; by Monmouthshire to the east; by Kibbor to the south; and by Miskin Hundred to the west. It is the third most-populous of Glamorgan's hundreds with a population of 187,815.

It contains the following ancient parishes:

• Machen (Rhyd-y-Gwern hamlet)^*
• Merthyr Tydfil
• Michaelstone-y-Fedw (Llanfedw hamlet)^*
