Burnt Yates is a village in the West Riding of Yorkshire, in Nidderdale.

The village is a mile north of the River Nidd and approximately ten miles east of the bounds of the Yorkshire Dales National Park. It I a small place, of about fifty houses.

Countryside surrounding Burnt Yates is popular amongst walkers.
