The River Kirkaig near Inverkirkaig

The River Kirkaig is a river which forms the westernmost stretch of the border between Sutherland to the north and the Coigach parcel of Cromartyshire. It drains the the lochs lying south of Suilven in south-western Sutherland. It runs for 3¼ miles from the western end of Fionn Loch to its mouth into Loch Kirkaig at Inverkirkaig. Along its route the river plunges over the impressive Falls of Kirkaig.
