Sparkenhoe
Sparkenhoe is one of the hundreds of Leicestershire, located in the west of the county, adjacent to the border with Warwickshire. It is bounded to the north by West Goscote Hundred; to the south-east by Guthlaxton; and to the west by Warwickshire. There is also a short border with Gartree to the very east, and a border with a detached part of Derbyshire to the north-west. Including many eastern suburbs of Leicester, it had a population of 249,901 in 2011.
