Twitcher Glacier is a glacier on South Georgia. It is four miles long and flows east from Mount Paterson in the Salvesen Range to the east coast of the island, immediately south of Herz Glacier and Iris Bay.

The glacier was surveyed in 1951-52 by the South Georgia Survey. It was named by the United Kingdom Antarctic Place-Names Committee for John Montagu, 4th Earl of Sandwich, First Lord of the Admiralty 1771–82, at the time that James Cook discovered South Georgia and the South Sandwich Islands (named respectively after King George III and the Earl of Sandwich respectively). Cook had named the bay he found here 'Sandwich Bay', though interpretations of the shape of the landscape have changed as glaciers have changed and the underlying landscape has been more clearly understood: Iris Bay is part of Cook's 'Sandwich Bay'. The name 'Twitcher' preserves James Cook's original nomenclature since the Earl of Sandwich was popularly known as "Jemmy Twitcher".[1]. Twitcher Rock, a sea stack in the South Sandwich Islands is named in the same spirit.

Twitcher Bay is named in conjunction with the glacier: it was appeared with the retreat of the Twitcher Glacier.
