Twitcher Bay is a bay to the south of Iris Bay, in the south-east of South Georgia.

The bay does not appear on older maps but is within the wider bay which James Cook named 'Sandwich Bay' after John Montagu, 4th Earl of Sandwich, then First Lord of the Admiralty. However Cook's Sandwich Bay was a product of the extent of ice sheet at the time of his visit, and which has substantially changed. Twitcher Bay was created by the retreat of Twitcher Glacier, which was first noticed in 2011. The bay was then surveyed in 2014 by the RV Hans Hansson.

The name of the bay if taken from that of the glacier, which is still named after John Montagu, 4th Earl of Sandwich, from his nickname: "Jemmy Twitcher".
