Tyrrell Glacier is a glacier on the north coast of South Georgia, flowing north into the head of Moraine Fjord where it joins Harker Glacier.

The feature was named by the United Kingdom Antarctic Place-Names Committee 1982, in association with Harker Glacier, after George Walter Tyrrell (1883–1961), Senior Lecturer in geology, University of Glasgow, 1919–48, author of several early papers on the petrology of South Georgia, the South Shetland Islands, and the Palmer Archipelago area.[1]
