Mickleton is a village in Teesdale, on the south bank of the River Tees in the North Riding of Yorkshire.

The dale here cuts amongst the Pennine hills, Mickleton stands close to the meeting of the River Lune as it leaves Lunedale, and joins the Tees. On the west side of the Lune here is Laithkirk.

Behind Mickleton on the Lunedale Hills stands the Bronze Age burial site of Kirkcarrion.
