Data |
Horseshoe Island is an islet of Bermuda, lying off the south-eastern tip of St George's Island and joined by a small embankment to the larger Higgs' Island, the two sitting in the gap between St George's and Paget Island. Horseshoe gets its name from its shape.
Horseshoe and Higgs are separated from St George's Island by the Town Cut, the manmade channel cut to allow ships of deep draft to enter the harbour of St George's.
