Hemlingford is one of the hundreds of Warwickshire, in the north-west of the county. It is bounded to the north-west by Staffordshire; to the north-east by Leicestershire; to the south-east by Knightlow hundred; to the south-west by Barlichway and a detached part of Knightlow hundred; and to the west by Worcestershire. Including those parts of Birmingham in Warwickshire, it had a population of 863,270 in 2011.
