Bromfield Hundred is one of the hundreds of Denbighshire. It is situated in the very east of the county, bounded to the east by Cheshire and Flintshire detached; to the north by Flintshire; to the south-east by Shropshire; to the south by Chirk Hundred; and to the west by Yale Hundred.
It comprises the ancient parishes of:
- Bangor-on-Dee (Eyton, Royton and Sesswick townships)*
- Erbistock (part)*
- Gresford (part)*
- Holt
- Llandegla (Trefydd Bychan township)†
- Llangollen (Eglwyseg township)‡
- Marchwiel
- Ruabon
- Wrexham*
*: Partly in Flintshire.
†: Remainder of parish in Yale Hundred.
‡: Remainder of parish in Chirk Hundred.
Bromfield Hundred is the most populous hundred of Denbighshire, with a population of 119,594 in 2011.
