Wilsthorpe is a hamlet on the coast of the East Riding of Yorkshire, just off the A165 road two miles south of Bridlington, and effectively forming a southward extension of its beach resort.

The hamlet has not escaped the consolidation of Bridlington: the local council has begun a project to rearrange access roads to the town with a roundabout on the A1038 and a new park and ride facility on South Shore adjacent to Wilsthorpe.[1] It was considered a first step in creating an integrated transport facility for Bridlingto,[2] drawing Wilsthorpe within it and improving access.

In 2009 the council built a new 150 place secure boat compound at Wilsthorpe to replace an existing facility at South Shore, Bridlington.[2]
