Wilsthorpe is a hamlet in the East Riding of Yorkshire. It is stands on the coast facing the North Sea just off the A165 about two miles south of Bridlington.
In 2009 a new secure boat compound with 150 berths was built at Wilsthorpe to replace an existing facility at South Shore in Bridlington: this was done to bring Wilsthorpe into Bridlington's integrated transport system, with a new road to a park-and-ride facility on South Shore adjacent to the Wilsthorpe.[1]
