Trory is a small village and a townland (of 335 acres) in Fermanagh. It is to be found three miles north of Enniskillen.[1]
The townland is in the Barony of Tirkennedy, but the wider civil parish (which includes the small village of Ballycassidy) extends over areas of Tirkennedy and parts of the Barony of Lurg.[2][3]
The 2001 Census recorded that Trory (with Ballycassidy and Laragh) had a population of 315 people.
The name Treabhraigh means 'Place of tillage'.
St Michael's Church of Ireland Parish Church in Trory is a listed building.
Devenish Island
The ferry to Devenish Island leaves from Trory point about a mile and a half out of Enniskillen.
