Tremaine or Tremain is a small village in north-eastern Cornwall, to the north-west of Launceston. To the north is the River Ottery, which here marks the border with Devon. At the 2011 census, the parish had a recorded population of just 53.

The parish is bounded to the north by Warbstow and Jacobstow parishes, to the east by the Devon border, in which is North Petherwin parish. To the west are Tresmeer and Treneglos parishes.

Tremaine village is 10 miles. The parish church, St Winwallo's, stands in the heart of the village. It is a Norman building and has a Norman font, though some of the windows are later insertions.
