Spidean Mialach is a mountain in the Knoydart district of Inverness-shire, which reaches a height of 3,268 feet at its summit, and so it qualifies as a Munro. It stands near Loch Quoich.

Ascent

Spidean Mialach is normally climbed together with Gleouraich, the two being connected by a long ridge to the north of Loch Quoich.

The south-facing slopes are largely grassy easy slopes attracting a whole series of fauna. The north side is much harsher and has a whole array of craggy corries biting into the face for the entire duration of the ridge.

Spidean Mialach is the smaller of the two Munros and has three deep corries on its north face. Its summit ridge is sharp and continues west to a high col before connecting with neighbouring Munro Gleouraich. The best views are to the south-west looking over Loch Quoich and to the north face of the long South Loch Quoich Ridge taking in five other Knoydart Munros.
