The River Eye at Upper Slaughter

The River Eye is a river in Gloucestershire, flowing amongst the Cotswolds, through the villages of Upper Slaughter and Lower Slaughter.

Soon after its source in the hills, the river is damed to create ornamental lakes in Eyford Park, before it descends to Upper Slaughter and on down to Lower Slaughter. It then passed under the Fosse Way (A429) and discharges its waters into the River Dikler above Bourton-on-the-Water, shortly before that river in turn enters the River Windrush.
